Equipment supply, service maintenance and the automation of working-time tracking are areas that complement the services of NVP «Plasmotekhnika» as a full-cycle systems integrator in the field of information security. The client receives not merely equipment with a delivery note, but hardware selected with regard to security requirements, and support throughout the entire life cycle — from supply to modernisation.
Supply of computer and server equipment
We supply equipment and software for government bodies, enterprises and medium and large businesses:
- workstations, laptops and peripheral equipment;
- servers, data storage systems and network equipment;
- uninterruptible power supplies and associated engineering components;
- software, in particular ESET products (partnership status — [TBC]).
What sets us apart from a typical supplier is our integrator approach. If the equipment is intended to operate within a restricted-access information and communication system, we select configurations with regard to the requirements of technical information security and the subsequent certification or authorization of the system. This removes a common risk: the equipment has been purchased, but the system built with it cannot be certified. We provide the full set of accompanying documents on request — in particular for verification of the supplier by the institution’s security service.
Service maintenance
We provide warranty and post-warranty service for the equipment supplied: diagnostics, repair, component replacement, scheduled preventive maintenance and operational consultations. For organisations with heightened continuity-of-operation requirements, we agree a maintenance schedule with response times — the parameters are fixed in the contract. If the facility’s access regime does not allow equipment to be removed, the work is carried out on the client’s premises.
Maintenance and modernisation of secure workstations
A distinct competence is the servicing of secure workstations of our own manufacture. We maintain and modernise PLASMA-ZV-ARM/MONO (passive protection against information leakage through technical channels) and PLASMA-ZARM/AZ (active protection), and also support PLASMA DD one-way security gateways. We carry out the maintenance and modernisation of the ZARM secure workstations at our own technological base, with mandatory special studies to confirm that their characteristics comply with the requirements of the current TPI regulatory documents.
In accordance with the requirements of the TPI system’s regulatory documents, instrumental control of information security is carried out:
- at the intervals established by the regulatory documents;
- in the event of the replacement or repair of the main technical equipment (keyboard, mouse, RAM, etc.);
- when connecting additional technical equipment that has not undergone certification within the TPI complex (an additional printer, removable USB media, disk drives, other peripherals);
- after the replacement of a technical information security tool (a noise generator, a filter, a ZARM).
Automation of working-time tracking and control
We implement automated working-time tracking systems — from a single office to a distributed network of facilities. The system objectively records staff attendance and generates reporting for management, the HR department and the security service:
- registration of entry and exit by cards or biometric identification;
- integration with access control and video surveillance systems;
- reports on hours worked, lateness and absence;
- delimitation of access zones for rooms where restricted-access information is processed.
Such systems combine naturally with the technical security of facilities: working-time tracking is built on the same infrastructure as access control and video surveillance, so the client does not pay for duplicated equipment.
