NVP «Plasmotekhnika» designs, implements and maintains the technical security systems of facilities: video surveillance, biometric access control, perimeter protection and PSIM platforms that unite these subsystems into a single monitoring and response loop. We work as a full-cycle integrator — from the survey and design of the facility to commissioning, staff training and service support.
For us, technical security is not divorced from information security: the same engineers who perform technical information security work also design the physical security. That is why our solutions take account, from the outset, of access-regime requirements, the delimitation of access and the resilience of the security systems themselves against interference.
Video surveillance
We build IP video surveillance systems for the specific tasks of a facility: control of checkpoints and entrances, monitoring of the perimeter and critical zones, and the recording of events for internal investigations. At the design stage we determine the fields of view, camera placement, the depth of the video archive and the fault-tolerance requirements.
- video analytics: motion detection, line crossing, abandoned-object monitoring, and number-plate recognition at entrances;
- video verification of alarms from perimeter protection and access control;
- video storage servers and network infrastructure — within the same project, without joining up several contractors.
Biometric access control
Access control systems (ACS) with identification by fingerprint or facial geometry delimit access on a least-privilege basis: who may enter, where and at what time. For critical zones — server rooms, rooms for working with restricted-access information — we apply multi-factor identification: a card or code plus a biometric feature.
ACS data also serve adjacent tasks: an event log for the security service, the automation of working-time tracking, and monitoring of the presence of visitors and contractors on the premises.
Palm-vein biometrics
A separate line of work for cases where passwords and ordinary fingerprints no longer provide the required level of protection. The scanner reads the vein pattern beneath the skin of the palm: it is unique to each person, does not change over a lifetime and is practically impossible to forge. Authentication is contactless — the user simply holds a palm up to the scanner — and, unlike a password or an access card, the identifying feature cannot be passed to someone else, lost or observed.
The hardware and software complex covers not only entry to the premises but also logging in to information systems — from the workstation to business applications:
- centralised access management: uniform identification policies across the organisation and prompt changes to settings;
- protection of the workstations of executives, accounting services and staff who work with business-critical data;
- prevention of access by outsiders to internal information resources, state registers and corporate databases;
- protection against the theft or destruction of data — from both external and internal threats.
What this changes in day-to-day work:
- a single sign-in mechanism without complex passwords — and, as a result, a lighter load on the IT department;
- precise identification of the user when accessing a computer, a server or any other system;
- full two-factor authentication where the threat model calls for it;
- biometric confirmation within internal approval and operation-confirmation procedures;
- integration with SAP HANA — granting or blocking access to financial transactions;
- flexible access management: assigning, restricting or denying access to individual resources;
- the removal of the risks associated with passwords written down on paper at workplaces.
We handle the selection of the solution, its configuration and support at every stage of the rollout ourselves — taking account of the client’s existing infrastructure and the requirements of its information security service. The technology is used both in commercial companies and in government institutions, at industrial facilities and in the IT sector — wherever stronger control of access to information assets is needed.
Perimeter protection
The perimeter is the first line of defence, giving time to respond before an intruder reaches the building. We select detection technologies to suit the layout of the site and the threat model: infrared and microwave barriers, vibration sensors on the fence, and perimeter video analytics. The key quality criterion is the balance between early detection and the false-alarm rate: every alarm should reach the operator already verified, with a video image of the event.
PSIM platforms: why unite the security subsystems
PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) is a software platform that collects events from all of a facility’s security subsystems: video surveillance, ACS, perimeter protection, and intrusion and fire alarm systems. Instead of several independent monitors, the operator works in a single interface, where an alarm is immediately accompanied by video, a site plan and an action scenario.
- a faster response: the platform guides the operator through a step-by-step response scenario;
- fewer missed alarms and human errors at facilities with many subsystems;
- an operator action log — an evidence base for reviewing incidents;
- scaling without replacing the core: new subsystems connect to the existing platform.
For clients with a large number of facilities or a distributed network of branches, we extend the platform with remote control: reviewing video, checking the state of the alarm system and changing access control system settings are all done remotely, instead of travelling to each site. A single duty shift covers dozens of locations, and an alarm from any of them reaches a shared monitoring loop. We protect the remote management channels together with cyber defence: administrator authentication, traffic encryption and the delimitation of rights to manage the security subsystems.
Restricted-access facilities: technical security in tandem with information security
For government bodies and enterprises, a technical security system is part of the overall protection regime, not a standalone «camera installation». We design with regard to the requirements for facilities where restricted-access information is processed: the placement of equipment, the delimitation of access to servers and video archives, and the protection of the security systems themselves against unauthorised interference.
If events or video streams from an isolated security segment must be transferred to a network of a different access level, we use our own one-way gateway PLASMA DD, which holds an expert conclusion from the State Service of Special Communications (No. [TBC]). And if the security system forms part of an ICS subject to authorization under Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 712, we support that process too — see ICS security authorization.

Where to start
The first step is an on-site survey of the facility: we record the layout of the site, the existing subsystems and the regime requirements, after which we prepare an outline solution with an estimate.
